Celebrating Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022, The Queen’s Green Canopy invites people across the United Kingdom to ‘Plant a Tree for the Jubilee’ in honour of Her Majesty’s historic 70 years of service.
A New Community Fund
As a Jubilee Partner, hgh supports the work of The Tree Council, joining forces with other partners in planting 35,000 trees and 7 kilometres of hedgerow across the country, whilst also contributing to a new community grant programme, the Jubilee Fund, in 2021 and 2022. Trees and hedgerows play a vital role in helping tackle climate change, improving biodiversity, alleviating flooding and enhancing wellbeing. This programme will not only plant new trees but also care for existing ones, which form an important part of our heritage.
A Green Legacy
